The Vancouver 2010 Olympics were amazing, even though I spent most of the time working at the Coke a Cola House in Live City Yale Town. It was just exciting going downtown everyday seeing Canadian united in pride cheering our athletes.

It has been finally announced Jan 28, 2009 will be the day of the Red Bull Thre3 Style Competition. Basically this is a dj competition where the dj has 15 minutes to rock the crowd and whoever rocks the crowd the best wins. The dj will be judge on style, genre selection, and stage presence. If you love music I guarantee you’ll love this event, no matter what.

I went to this event last year, and it was insane. The Commodore Ballroom was packed with 10 000 people rocking to the dj beats. It is an awesome experience. The dj’s don’t play the generic top 40 tracks, but actually dig deep in their creates to take the crowd on a emotional roller coaster of music. I highly recommend that you go to this event. The only thing I don’t like about it, is that it’s on a Thursday Night!
